Kevin Brady will be serving as an on-air host for “The Night of 10,000 Meals,” a charity virtual “FUNdraiser” for Feeding South Florida.  He has worked with Feeding America for many years.

Many families are making hard choices between paying a utility bill, the rent, or getting groceries.  That’s why Feeding South Florida is so important.  Not only do they assist food banks, but they also assist people directly with getting the temporary help they need to avoid poverty and hunger.  This is done by allowing people to shop the shelves with their dignity intact and respect every step of the way.  It is the Human thing to do.

With Feeding South Florida, every $1 donated can help provide up to 10 meals. The work they do is critical to many in normal times and is crucial in the times that we face today.

You are invited to join this FUNdraiser with BOMA Miami-Dade and VIP Celebrity Chef Raphael Barrera, as Chef Barerrra invites us into his home, and shows us how to prepare a delicious Puerto Rican dish.

Raphael is the co-owner of  Vecino’s Market, a curated online marketplace that represents over 40 South Floridian makers of things from jewelry, food, clothing, kids’ toys, luxury items and much more.  Guess what?  We will meet some of them, hear their stories, and see their wares too!

This event is open to all

You can visit the BOMA Miami-Dade website and register as a guest.  Even buying a $5 ticket to the show will provide 50 meals.  (whispers: There is also an open donation ticket for whatever amount you feel comfortable.)

Once inside the show, you will have opportunities to chat with friends, get discounts, and win raffle prizes.  Raffle tickets will be sold virtually throughout the event. Once registered, you will receive information for the secure Zoom we have set up.
