We are proud to support the LGBTQ+ community.

At TruPark, we have always understood that diverse backgrounds continue to bring a fresh perspective team. Diversity and inclusion have long been woven into the DNA of TruPark, so it is our honor to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month.

ABOUT PRIDE MONTH

Pride Month commemorates the June 28, 1969 police raid on the Stonewall Inn, a gay club in Greenwich Village, resulting in bar patrons, staff, and neighborhood residents rioting onto Christopher Street outside. Protestors demanded the establishment of places where LGBT+ people could go and be open about their sexual orientation without fear of arrest.

As a sub-holiday during Pride Month, Pride Day is celebrated on June 28. The day marked the date in history when the first pride march was held in New York City in 1970. However, different communities celebrate Pride Day on different days throughout June.

We continue to stand with the eLGBTQ+ community, and we are happy about the remarkable progress that has been made since Stonewall.
